Project description
The DigitaliSSB project (Promotion of the Digitalisation of Basic Social Services in Catalonia) aims to contribute to the improvement and transformation of the management and social intervention models of the Basic Social Services of local authorities in Catalonia. It consists of the design, development, implementation and evaluation in 18 Basic Social Services Areas of two independent and complementary technological solutions that are necessary today to enable the improvement of care and the digital transformation of care and social intervention processes among basic social action teams of the territory.
The first technological solution, DigitaliSSB-Intervention, is a solution for the relationship, intervention and exchange of information for professionals and users of the Basic Social Services; the second solution, DigitaliSSB-QsC, is a solution for decision-making, planning and evaluation of social care.
Objectives
The general objective of the DigitaliSSB is to contribute to the improvement of the care provided by municipal and county Basic Social Services by means of digital transformation.
The secondary objectives are as follows:
- To develop technological solutions co-designed with the professionals of 18 Basic Social Services to respond to their needs of improving social intervention.
- To train the professional teams of these 18 Basic Social Services in the use of the developed solutions, and to accompany them in the effective management of the changes that their incorporation may entail.
- To implement and evaluate in a participative manner the developed solutions, for their improvement, consolidation and potential subsequent extension to all the Basic Areas of Catalonia.
