This research is based on the study and improvement of the training activities provided by the Catalan regional police force, the Mossos d'Esquadra (MMEE), in secondary schools. The aim is to promote and improve the coordination of Social Services, educational centres and the MMEE police force in the co-creation for the design of training activities, awareness campaigns and the incorporation of safety and civic issues in the school curriculum that are performed in these centres by police officers, in order to carry out activities that have a greater impact: more effective and that respond to the needs of each centre, context and educational environment to respond to their students and also to the needs of the teaching staff.

The study methodology will be mixed: both quantitative and qualitative research techniques will be used. Specifically, an ethnography will be carried out through interviews and participant observation, followed by a documentary analysis. Also, the quadruple helix approach will be applied where all stakeholders will be involved in the study. Finally, a questionnaire will be distributed among the students to collect their impressions and to allow us to scale some of the results in order to check more easily the coherence and clarity of the data obtained.

The results obtained will have an impact on society as a whole, especially on the most disadvantaged population. Help in the community would be provided by achieving a deeper and more effective preventive work of the students' needs and an ethical dimension and civic values that would have repercussions beyond the academic field; that is to say, in the individuals themselves and in their actions projected towards life in the community. In a practical way, the research will help us to adapt the activities to the social needs of each territory, to know which of them are better to achieve a more cohesive society and with the collaboration of which professionals they have to be taught in order to contribute more efficiently and effectively to the prevention and improvement in the resolution of conflicts. The analysis of the results and the subsequent drafting of the improvement plan will make it possible to detect and deal with conflicts from a more preventive and interdisciplinary point of view.
