Eduardo L. Menéndez (Buanos Aires, 1934) is one of the leaders of medical anthropology today. Born in Argentina, he moved to Mexico City in 1976 and has developed a very intense career in CIESAS (México City). With two dozens of books and a large number of papers and book chapters his theoretical influence is a fact in all Latin America and Souther Europe. Honoris Causa Doctor by Universitat Rovira Virgili. He has begin to teach in Tarragona in 1984 and he continues to assure it within the Master of Medical Anthropology and Global Health (MIAMS)
